Hot roller clamps are simply the best for holding hair up when sectioning for braiding, blow-drying, or styling. They are lightweight with a wide grip and won’t snag hair like smaller clips. Especially helpful when dealing with a lot of hair.
When parting natural or curly hair into sections, use a leave-in conditioner to help the comb slide more easily through the hair and prevent snagging or pulling. First part the hair with your fingers—second, spray the leave-in conditioner directly onto the area where you want to slide the comb—third, use the end of a rat tail comb to smoothly part the hair. Great for preventing breakage and discomfort.
