Hair only absorbs what it needs

Layering or mixing hair conditioners and treatments can increase the variety of proteins, vitamins, and minerals that you infuse into your hair, thus improving its health, appearance and manageability.  Keep in mind that hair only absorbs what it needs and the rest of the nutrients will just sit on the surface of the hair shaft.  This is only a problem if buildup occurs and hair starts to look and feel brittle, stiff, limp, dry or dull.  If you are happy with the results, then your "special recipe" is probably working.

Juicing for healthy hair

It is commonly known that juicing (drinking fresh vegetable and fruit juices) helps fight face wrinkles, but it is also great for obtaining and maintaining healthy hair.  Cucumber and bell pepper juices are wonderful sources of silicon which strengthens hair.  Parsnip juice is a well-known beauty tonic for skin, hair, and nails.  Raw vegetable and fruit juices provide a concentration of the most beneficial nutrients that is far superior to any vitamin supplement that you can buy.

Potato water can help your hair grow faster

Potatoes are rich in many vitamins and minerals, including Vitamin C, Folic Acid, and Vitamin B Complex, which are all very beneficial for your hair.  The following is a well-known natural remedy to accelerate hair growth:  Peel and then boil 3 to 4 potatoes for about 15 minutes.  Remove the potatoes and let the water cool.  Wash your hair and then rinse it with the potato water.  The potato water will strengthen your hair roots and energize your scalp.  For best results, use the water the same day.
